Museums in Dammam
Dammam has two confirmed standalone museums, plus a private collection inside Heritage Village. Ithra, the Eastern Province's best-known cultural venue, is in neighbouring Dhahran, not Dammam.

Dammam Museum
Dammam Museum opened in 1985 and occupies part of the Dammam Public Library building, covering 1,281 square metres. A project to watch: Dammam Regional Museum
A foundation stone was laid in June 2011 for a Dammam Regional Museum project at King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Park on the Dammam waterfront. As of this research pass, it was not confirmed whether this project has opened to the public; a current operating status was not independently verified. Not a museum: Al Marjan Island
Al Marjan Island, also called Coral Island, appears in some older Dammam content as a "museum," which is inaccurate.
